I'm a licensed lay chaplain and wedding officiant, and I believe your ceremony should feel like a conversation with your favourite people — not a script with your names dropped into the blanks.
And when it comes to the wedding day itself, I'm equally happy making sure the details happen behind the scenes. Because somebody should be watching the clock, checking the cues and answering the questions. It shouldn't be you.
